Aim of the project


Aim of the project is to study relationship between nature of chemical bonding, crystal and electronic structure and the reactivity of solids. This issue, extremely important for development of modern material technologies, is still beyond main interest of leading scientists. Author's world unique and consequent research on the electronic aspect of intercalation process in transition metal compounds, showing direct relationship between electronic structure of cathode material and useful parameters of lithium accumulators, will "dot the i's" revealing this immensely important relationship and will create new tool for designing functional materials for Li-ion batteries, modern power engineering and other technology areas.
